My partner has asthma and wont quit smoking? -
he tells me when hes having trouble breathing, a cigarette helps. i think thats the biggest load of crap i have ever heard!!! and his asthma is slowly getting worse as he gets older...... what can i tell him to help him quit???? he says he will quit when he stops stressing.....he will NEVER stop stressing.
Unfortunatly your friend is one of the many persons that end up putting off quiting so long that it eventually kills them. I went to Nursing school with quite a few smokers, and even with everything they learned they never quit. It-s sad but true.
The only thing that can make your friend stop is himself.
Maybe try getting some really graphic photos online off what smoker-s lung-s look like. It might give him a good picture.
life is strssfull,if he loves you then tell him its hurting you just as much if not worse, or you give up a habit that he dislikes so much.
Keep him bossy , he will forget cigarettes
