Whats the best way to quit smoking? -


Look at smoking as a highly addictive entity that aim to ruin your health and cost you a fortune over your shortened life if you do not quit. So do not wait to you get emphysema, wrinkled skin yellow fingers and possibly lung cancer in return for spending thousands of dollars trying initially to look cool, an image the tobacco companies try to create.
So what to do, just tale your last cigarettes and soak them under the tap, give the smokes or what is left of them a squeeze and you will see the toxic gunk they contain ooze out. then dispose of the mess in the trash and wow never to take a single puff on a cigarette again ever. You must also if you feel desperate put a time like two minutes between having a puff and the present time, but that is in relation to whatever time it happen to be, so if you wait a minute there is still two minutes to go, always.
Then avoid - friends- who see it as their duty to undermine your resolve, and keep busy and think of something else if the thought of smoking enter your mind.
It may not be the easiest way to give up, but it work.

You can only stop smoking with your will power..!!! Control yourself. Never smoke for any reason. Not a single puff. Try avoiding Smokers Company. Change your mind or delay while you feel a need. It’s difficult in the beginning but after a few months you will get used to and will think that you have got the control. That will be a dangerous period because you may think of smoking for once or occasionally. Trust me if you smoke again even for a single time you will get into smoking more severely this time.

All other ways are just wastage of time and money.

I think the most effective way would be a combination of a few things

1) Slowly start decreasing the amount you smoke over a period of time.
2) Keep yourself occupied. Many people find chewing gum helps. When you get the urge to smoke, find some gum nearby and pop it into your mouth.
3)Think about the reasons you smoke. Habit? Stress? If its stress, you need to somehow find another way to relieve that stress.
4)Surround yourself with a supportive environment.Nothing-s worse than trying to quit, but being around friends who always want you to smoke with them. Nothing-ll get accomplished that way.

Well a lot of people are quitting with e cigarettes, its basically a cigarette without fire and all the other harmful stuff. My father is using one and he likes it and it can slowly get you off smoking by lowering the nicotine in the e cigarette cartridges. Hope this helped
