How do you get a parent to quit smoking, without them know you are trying to make them quit? -
First you want to do this to your grandparents, now your parents? You know that-s what dictators do, don-t you?
Just leave them alone. There-s probably a reason they are smoking. I can think of one. The way the chain is going, you-ll probably follow suit. Then someone will be playing tricks on you to stop.
Hmm. I would just open up and tell them that what they are doing is not healthy and that you don-t like that. However I-m not sure how that will work in your situation. I just get very annoyed when I see people smoking, because my father was diagnosed with throat cancer even though he didn-t smoke. Depending on your age though, I would just confront them and maybe /give some examples of what happens when you smoke that you learned in school/ Best of luck to you.
Try banging up a cardboard coffin with several ashtrays inside full of cigarette butts - placing it where their bed normally is.... add some -Bon Voyage- cards and see what happens!!

but if your can get past the without them knowing part..go to a doctor and get some pills that will help them quit
