How can I quit smoking, and not gain weight? -

try the gum...it will keep your mouth busy...start exercising as soon as you quit....i was so excited that i could breathe easier so quickly! Just start power walking or even slow walking...just get outside and breathe in that good stuff!
You need to control your food intake. I eat two meals a day and I make sure that one of the meals per day is a healthy one. I jog 4 days a week for about 45 minutes each time, and I-m very skinny. Do what I do, that-s it.

Both are solved through the same procedure of self hypnosis. When you hypnotize yourself, you reach the state of relaxation which allows you to control somewhat your mind. always have gum on hand and chew chew chew! a small part of smoking is oral fixation (not the Shakira Album) you actually become attached to having something in your hand and/or mouth
See mothers trying to get their kids of their pacifiers, then they suck thier thumbs, then finally they get teased in school for sucking on their thumbs and they finally stop.SAME THING. Chew gum or anything to keep your mind off smokes, or yes you will be shoving every morsel of food you can find in your mouth even if you are not hungry

There is no substitution other then will power in either scenario. To quit smoking, you really have to want to quit. Make it for two weeks and you’re on your way. If you need food as a sub to the smokes, eat fruit and raw veggies as a sub. I quit smoking - drinking 12/01/06 and have lost 19 lbs
