Any advice on how to quit smoking tobacco? -

I feel anxious without a cigarette. No money for gum or medications, and no interest, either.
well..

can tell you the only thing that worked for me was finding a support group.. im a member of nicotine anonymous, and Attend meetings both online, and locally... online voice meetings are as close as your computer.. there is really no wrong way to quit.. however you decide to proceed good luck!!!

Nicotine Anonymous is a Non-Profit 12 Step Fellowship of men and women helping each other live nicotine-free lives. Nicotine Anonymous welcomes all those seeking freedom from nicotine addiction, including those using cessation programs and nicotine withdrawal aids. The primary purpose of Nicotine Anonymous is to help all those who would like to cease using tobacco and nicotine products in any form. The Fellowship offers group support and recovery using the 12 Steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to achieve abstinence from nicotine.
1. Look into the different self-help ways to quit smoking. Some of them can be done without spending any amount.
2. Pick a quit date. Choose one when you are not stressed.
3. When you stop smoking, be sure to have exercise every day. It-s one of the best ways to relieve yourself from the stress of not being able to smoke and is very good to keep you fit.
4. Join stop smoking programs. It helps a lot to be with people who are undergoing the same situation you are in. You can start a support group for each other to help you in your battle against smoking.
First of all YOU have to want to quit, not your partner, or parents or whomever. Pick a date not too far ahead as -Q Day- The day before smoke yourself silly. Make sure that when you go to bed that night there are no smokes left in the house, all the ashtrays are clean and out of sight, throw out the lighters and matches and make sure to dump the most disgusting mess of garbage possible on top of any butts you-ve put in the garbage can.
Okay -Q Day-
If you used to have black coffee and a smoke first thing, try tea.
If you used to have a beer and a smoke after work, try wine. Change your habits.
Not everyone quits forever the first time. If you backslide just try again.
It-s a hard addiction to beat. After 30 years as an ex-smoker my Dad still wanted a smoke everytime he had a beer.
You can do it if YOU want it.
Good luck
Then you are probably not serious enough to quit. But if you want to try, what you do is throw your cigarettes away. Some people will be OK, not everyone is heavily addicted or even addicted at all. Some people will rapidly discover why they-re called -addictive.-
Go buy some skoal and throw in some bombs
staying busy and snacks can help a lot
