New research shows that green tea may be very effective for people who are trying to quit smoking. In a recent study, cigarette smokers who drank up to six cups of herbal green tea a day reduced the damage by toxins by up to 50 %! That being said, someone who is either continuing to smoke or quitting cigarette smoking can absolutely benefit from drinking several cups of green tea a day. It’s also important to keep yourself well hydrated while you are quitting smoking in order to rid your body of the built-up toxins and nicotine you’ve been storing.
