I think thats the best way to do it, I have been smokefree after 10 years of smoking. I quit cold turkey 3 months ago. Though it-s more difficult in the beginning but from what I read, the success rate of staying quit is highest for cold turkey quit. I would suggest you to do deep breathing excercises when I feel a strong urge to fall back ... good luck and stay healthy
