Quit smoking? -

How did you quit smoking, I have 2 months without smoking and I still crave it, I don-t use patches or gum
2 months? eventually you will get fed up with the craving and move on with your life. ive been smoke free since 1999 and I still want one now and then
I promise that that feeling eventually fades. I had the exact same problem, and caved in multiple times over the course of a few years. I REFUSED to consider this failing at quitting, but instead considered it easing the pain of quitting. My trick was to NEVER BUY A PACK. That way a relapse is a one-time thing, not a one-pack-at-a-time thing. Nicotine gum helped, but initially I missed just HOLDING the cigarette. It eventually started to fade, and now I don-t miss that at all. Next, it was missing the taste that was overwhelming. As it became longer and longer between relapses, that definitely went away completely (it actually starts to taste terrible). Finally, I missed the calming effects. That is the hardest part to get over. For years, if I was under extreme stress, the desire to smoke again was insatiable. I gave in a few times, but by this point I no longer enjoyed what I was doing. That helped. It-s now been years since I-ve had a cigarette. Do I still sometimes consider it?? You betcha. Is it easier to say no now?? You betcha. Do I regret it now?? DEFINITELY NOT!!!! Good luck with quitting -- don-t give up, don-t think of yourself as a failure if you-re honestly giving it your best, and you-ll make it to where I am eventually.

Is it normal to feel extremely nauseous and heavy eyed when you attempt to quit smoking cigarettes? -

Is it normal to feel extremely nauseous and heavy eyed when you attempt to quit smoking cigarettes? -

it-s been a little over 24 hours since my last cigarette and i am in awe of how nauseous i am. does this normally happen? and the heavy eyes. i feel like i-m on something every second. i really thought quitting cold turkey wasn-t going to be a problem... help.
Yes. Your body is going through withdrawls.
Yes it is normal. Nicotine is a drug a very addictive one at that plus not to mention all the other things cigarettes companies put in their cigarettes. Your body is just withdrawing from the lake of nicotine and the other harmful chemicals in your system.

When you do an addictive drug your body gets high from it, when your high gets to its peak you start coming down from your high and you don-t come down to your normal level you were at before you took the drug your body goes below your normal level, so you have to take more of the drug to get high again because if you only take the same amount your body will only return to its normal level

Take caffeine for example. Caffeine is a drug that is highly addictive, it is a stimulant that makes you feel awake and can help you concentrate better, that is why when people drink coffee or sodas containing caffeine they say they feel more awake and can concentrate better, but eventually they come down from their high and they start feeling tired again but this time they feel even more tired (we call this crashing it is basically a withdraw) because when you come down from a drug that addictive your body goes below the normal levels your started at before you started drinking the coffee or soda, so then you have to drink even more coffee or soda because if you only drink the same amount you started off with that will only bring you back up to your normal level so you will still feel tired so you will have to drink even more coffee or soda to get high from it again to feel awake.
hi Torrie..

congratulations on those 24 hours that-s a real big deal..you mention heavy eyed, yes nicotine is a stimulant, so many sleep a lot at first...the nauseous stuff not so much..

but thee are lots of metabolic changes going on right now, depending on how long you smoked, how much, and lot of individual factors.. digestive symptoms, including nauseousness are not unheard of..

i would simply try treating the symptoms with over the counter medications, such as pepto bismol, or alka seltzer...

also believe me when i tell you , you are not alone in distress with withdrawals..thats one good reason to join a support group.. members have been there, and can give you guidance..

Nicotine Anonymous is a Non-Profit 12 Step Fellowship of men and women helping each other live nicotine-free lives. Nicotine Anonymous welcomes all those seeking freedom from nicotine addiction, including those using cessation programs and nicotine withdrawal aids. The primary purpose of Nicotine Anonymous is to help all those who would like to cease using tobacco and nicotine products in any form. The Fellowship offers group support and recovery using the 12 Steps as adapted from Alcoholics Anonymous to achieve abstinence from nicotine.
maybe.. try googling nicotine withdrawal symptoms
either way you should probably try to wean yourself off gadually

maybe have 1/2 the usual number of cigarettes every second day till ur on one... or switch to lighter and lighter ones then decrease number then quit

either way symptoms should be pretty nauseous.

oh and i shoulkdnt be saying this but weed does wonders for the nausea, just dont mix it! :p
http://greensmoke.com/

try that for smoking, its the best way to quit in my mind, the nauseousness and heavy eyes probably is because your body is craving the nicotine but not getting it
Nausea would be kind of unusual, I think, but who knows. You-ll certainly experience symptoms of withdrawal.
I would assume it-s normal. Good for you! Don-t quit quitting! Your friend-s and family will be proud of you!

Has anyone had this issue? Usually, other times i have quit, i am constipated. I have a really bad cough and a lot of phlegm so i stopped smoking so i don-t make the flu any worse and damage my lungs.
yes i quit smoking for about 2 weeks because i had a flew and then shorty after that i had diarrhoea, it-s normal it-s just the withdrawal symptoms

How long does it take for nicotine to leave your body when you quit smoking? -

Nicotine doesn-t really stay in your body for very long. Maybe a couple of days. Your body will get rid of it pretty quick but if you-ve been a regular smoker or tobacco chewer then it-s the withdrawal symptoms you have to deal with.
It can be as little as 24 hours, or as much as 72 hours.

Does anyone know of any pill or natural things I could take to quit smoking? -

I have been trying on my own but keep relapsing. Thanks.
I suggest you learn yoga. If you start a class you-ll probably find the breathing exercises difficult but they will help you gradually and you will get support from teacher and students for your quitting.
It is just necessary to change the beliefs from self destructive to health conscious. You can try other natural relaxation techniques and therapies like reiki, massage, acupuncture and meditation.
Plenty of nervine herbs are there in the health food shops to make calming herb teas. Try seeing a homeopath. I think they have something specific for that.
But it isn-t so easy to give up overnight because of a set of thinking patterns you have developed. Even because of the company you keep. Get into healthy circles and support groups if you can.
Learn positive affirmations. Love yourself and your body and daily affirm it. Don-t allow negative thoughts. Reprogram them yourself. Be strong and believe you can do it.
When I was younger I would smoke 6 months, give up for 6 months then start again. For me herbal cigarettes made a big differnce. And continuing to go into the health food shop to buy them made me take an interest in my health. Such a better life since then.
You have to be able to kick the addiction, but you-re probably really used to the very action of smoking at certain times, such as after dinner, before bed, etc. In order to quit, you have to wean yourself off by replacing your cigarettes and nicotine with something similar.

what my boyfriend did was buy smokes from International Oddities and replaced two cigarettes a day with the blueberry bud cigarette, which had no nicotine, so wasn-t addicting. he slowly began replacing more and more cigs, then cut down on the International stuff.

It-s worth a shot! Good luck

http://internationaloddities.com/smokeno…

I recommend you purchase the book: Healthy Healing by Linda Page ., either from a health food store or book store. There is a lot of information on anything - everything you can think of including -How to quit smoking..- that works. It is worth it. Good Luck.
I tried like 10 times to quit smoking. Longest period was maybe a week! All the time i was thinking about smoke. I fail and fail again. No apothecary did not help me and i was not mentally to strong to quit!
And one day i met my old classmate who was smoker to and he give that web site what helped him.Now he has not smoking many years and i about 4 months and think i ever will.
Hopefully it helps u to!!

What is the best prescription drug to quit smoking? -

There is one that is supposed to block the part of the brain that craves nicotine. This drug does not have nicotine in it. Does anyone know which one this is?
CHANTIX...Works wonders. Though, not covered by most insurance plans, you could end up paying over $100 for it. Check with your insurance though, my Dad just got a prescription for it, and they covered it.

I did it cold turkey, and worked well for me. Have you tried that?

Anyway, good luck on qutting!!!
Dear smoking is a habit not a disease i also chanesmoker but now i quite smoking. The main thing is self confidence if u want to quite smoking then make a strong disession for leaving smoking and use some homeopatic medicine daily five drop in morning and evening that medicain name is thuja
Hello I am quitting smoking right now and I am taking this med called Chantix. It blocks the nicotine that goes to the brain . You start taking it for a full week b-4 u stop smoking. You smoke the week thru and by the 7th day you stop.

It has done wonders for me. I was really slowing down by the 4th day and today is the 7th day and, I can honestly say it is going great! it is amazing . GO GET IT NOW.

I am not even missing my moring cig. I do have some cravings when I get stressed but I think it is a mind thing for me now . I do have the withdrawn symptoms tired , crazy, but not to bad over all . Not like the lady on the commerical ! lol.

Your Dr can give u a start out pack , I think not sure , it is expensive but you do not have to buy nicotine patch or any of that stuff . and it is one week of cigarettes. Well I hope I helped . Just answering has helped me today . Thanks

FG
I would stay away from PILLS. All you are going to do is to make dug company happy. You can do it if you are strong enough. Just quite~!
It is called Chantix. I got a prescription for it but my insurance did not cover it. The doctor said that some company-s do and some don-t pay for all or part of it. He said that within 3 to 4 weeks, you won-t even want to be around cigarettes anymore. I priced it at Target and it was $112.00/ month. The doctor gave me a 3 months prescription. I found it online though for a little less than that. BUt just go to that website and it should tell you all about it.
CHANTIX comes in a dose pack. insurance will not pay for it. I spent 120.00 for the month. after two weeks I didn-t even want a cig. If you still have the urge you will need another dose pack. you take one pill a day for a few days and then two pills. you start the week before you want to quit, so you-ll smoke for a week and for some reason you just don-t want one. no crankies and mood swings. Good Luck
Will power! I-ve done it; so can you. I smoked for almost 20 years, and I quit without drugs, and I didn-t gain weight. I kept a pack of sugar-free gum with me at all times. After 2 days of not smoking, you-re finished with the physical addiction...now it-s the psychological addiction you must defeat. Are you strong enough to do that?
Wellbutrin
Chantix works wonders BUT it is not covered by most insurance plans (not yet). I used Zyban (generic is Budeperion or wellbutrin) and it took all desire away to smoke. I was able to quit successfully. With it having a generic, it-s cheaper. If you have insurance, just tell your doc that you tried the gum and patches to quit but they didn-t work. Then the insurance company (in most cases) has to cover the generic Zyban. Good luck to you!

What kind of habbits would you create for a lifetime , if you just quit smoking forever? -

Never smoked a day in my entire life. Was too intelligent to start in the first place! Have healthy habbit of a whole lifetime of not smoking. Will live longer and not stink like a freight train!
You-ll touch your face a lot. One of the things that makes it so hard to quit smoking isn-t really the nicotine, but the constant hand mostion to the face. You-ll want something to keep your hands busy so more often than not you-ll touch your face alot, and play with pens and pencils, probably chew on them too.

Another thing that-ll happen because of the need to bring stuff to yoru face, is that you-ll gain weight for sure-- even if you don-t notice. (i gained like ten pounds, on tictacs and waffles. lol I remember when i quit, i started eating candy like crazy, and chewed a pen down to nothing.)
I buy myself fresh flowers every week now. A luxury I felt I couldn-t afford when I was spending $70 a week on cigi-s! And in the evenings when I would sit down on my deck and -relax- by chain smoking, I now walk the dog 5klms! I love that I dont have to smoke anymore! (So does the dog!)
I would first learn other ways to manage stress.
I would save the money spent on cigarettes or use it for something else.
I would encourage people that want to stop smoking because I understood first hand what they are going through.
I would also be very proud of myself.
In Australia, the cost of a packet a day, over a lifetime is around $300,000. I-d develop the habit of collecting the rent on my house, which I bought to rent out, with the money saved!

Ive been sneezing blood ever since I quit smoking...is this common? -

Ive been sneezing blood ever since I quit smoking...is this common? -

Do you know why? and do you think these two things are related or just a coincidence?

I know I need to go to the doctor, but I cant afford it right now.
No, it-s not a coincidence, but it-s okay and it-ll go away by itself before you know it.

CONGRATULATIONS FOR QUITTING!!!!!!!

Both the men in my life (hus, son) are prone to frequent nosebleeds. The dr. prescribed Flonase nasal spray, and they are all but gone. It-s really cheap (generic is $1.59 on my plan, $4 for everybody at Tgt - W-M) if you can get an rx.

Seriously, my mom died of lung cancer that spread everywhere because she tried - tried and couldn-t quit. You have my great admiration because I know how hard quitting is.

Best wishes,
Debbie
You need to use vaseline in your nasal passages once or twice daily to keep it moist. Also use a humidifier now that the weather is getting colder.
Quitting smoking should not cause you to sneeze blood. You have something else going on. It could be as simple as dried out sinus or it could be high blood pressure or others medical things. I am sure to continue to smoke or be around smoke would help it in anyway - most likely it would make it worse. What ever you do, don-t smoke! I have a website on nicotine withdrawal symtoms -
http://www.healingrecovery.com/nica/with…
check it out.

Carol
Alright, I-ll give this a stab, although I am no expert. There is a condition which occurs during congestive heart failure called pulmonary edema. This occurs when the left ventricle of the heart is too weak to pump sufficient amounts of blood through the aorta. This causes the lungs to fill up with blood, resulting in people coughing up blood (sneezing is a different story I think). So it may or may not be a coincidence.

I quit smoking for like the ninth time two days ago, and I have never experienced sneezing blood in any of my times quitting. However I did sneeze a lot more when I smoked in cold weather (no blood), I presume it is due to damaged capillaries (Little veins) in your nasopharynx (nostrils). So maybe they are in the process of recovering or something along those lines.

A good rule of thumb is if it lasts longer then you think it should and you become concerned, contact a doctor. I am sure that at some hospital SOMEONE will at least answer your question without diagnosing you. Good luck, use the patch its your best hope =p (It-s mine at least).

Can you quit smoking successfully by just reducing? -

Can you quit smoking successfully by just reducing? -

the amount you smoke daily until you are down to no cigarettes or is cold turkey a better route?
Cold turkey is best for me too... but it completely depends on what kind of person you are. How many are you smoking? maybe combine the two methods. Decrease to a small amount, then go cold turkey. Otherwise you might try to justify sneaking a cigarette by telling yourself, -Oh, it-s been a couple days since I last had one. I need to take this slow.-

It only takes eight days for your body to be completely free of nicotine, so after that it-s just the habit that makes you want a cig.

Best of luck to you!
Not everything works the same for everyone.
I quit in 1982 after smoking for 15 years.

I worked myself down from strong cigarettes to the low tar brands in about a month. Then, I went from 3 packs a day to 2 to one, to 10 cigs, to 5 to one then I quit.

No, was still hard but I made up my mind I was going to quit and that was that. I asked myself: -Am i am man or a wimp? Is this little stick of tobacco going to win or am I?-

Well, I won! Good thing too for 5 years later I became a severe asthmatic. I can-t even stand to be around smoke now.

Hey, good luck. If I can quit ANYONE can!
Oh and by the way, cigs were 35 cents a pack when I quit in 82. You have to be rich to smoke nowdays. sheesh!
Cold turkey is best...that is what I did.
You started smoking only a few a day and wound up smoking a pack a day. If you cut down 1 cigarette per week, you-ll be smokefree in 20 weeks.

Maybe because smoking is an addiction. A terrible addiction at that. I used to be a smoker, but I-m now smoke-free for around 5 years. Happily living my life with my wife and kids.

From my experience, you need a wake up call- for you to see things through a different perspective.

I personally stopped because my doctor said if I carried on the way I was going, I would die and not see my kids grow.

The thought of that completely tore me apart and was the final nail my Smoking Era.

Hope I helped,

Chris
Repentance 1st, then used alternatives like eating menthol candy,
The shortest and least stressful way is with help.
Help to give you all the ways to put in a new non-smoking program or habit into your brain. The physical addiction to nicotine is gone in 2-3 days, so the rest is habitual, and psychological. There-s lots of free help at this website, plus a great guaranteed course you can do to make the whole process easier on yourself.

What is a good way to quit smoking cigarettes ? -

serous answers only please i know i started at a young age but at least im trying to quit now! and thanks any help.
Don-t buy cigarettes
I quit cold turkey, smoking from 13, I-m 17 now. The first week or 2 I was going insane, but after then, I only wanted a cigarette when I was bored, or had nothing to do. I kept myself occupied and I didn-t really think about them. I haven-t touched a cigarette in 4-5 months now.

I don-t know if that-ll work with you.. Everybody-s different, but from what I-ve heard quitting cold turkey is the best and most effective way to do it. It-s only hard for the first few weeks, then you-ll never regret it after that.

I smoke about a pack a day or a little less depending on what I do that day. Some days I may only smoke 2-5 cigs. I-m just wondering what is best: patches, pill, lozenge, etc.

I have the willpower but would like some help with it.

Thanks in advance.
Good for you, just thinking about it. First let me share my own experience, I think you will relate.
I have smoked 2 - 4 pks a day for 48 years. I have tried several times over the years and never made it past a week. I was hypnotized, used the gum, wore patches(several times) and it just made me a nervous wreck is all. Even Doctors started telling me to forget trying to quit smoking because I couldn-t and I would be mental wreck trying.
Then, along came -Chantix- and the right Doctor working with me. April 12th, 2007 was my last cigarette and I will never smoke again. It took all the desire to have one out of my brain, it wasn-t simple but it was doable. I have never felt better and thank God my lungs are still good. Please talk to a good Doctor and get on the program. You will never regret it.
Healthnut
my father in law has smoked forever he stated taking chantex the stop smoking pill and it worked for him!!! If he can do it anyone can!! Good luck
There-s a book called -The Easy Way to Stop Smoking-
Check the link below and read the reviews. It really works and is cheaper than patches and pills.
The most effective thing (and the only thing that worked for me) was smoking coltsfoot. It used to be smoked as a treatment for asthma (really!). Smoking a couple of rolled coltsfoot -cigarettes- still gives you something to puff on, something in there really helps with the -nic fits-, it opens up the capillaries and cleans out your lungs, and gives you something to do with your hands (rolling the cigarette). After a few days, you find that the cravings are gone, and rolling up the coltsfoot is more trouble than its worth and you quit smoking those, too. That-s when you realize, you have quit smoking.
By the way, coltsfoot is perfectly safe for smoking and has no side effects...it is an all natural herb and can be found at www.mountainroseherbs.com for a very reasonable price

Did you quit smoking more than one month ago? -

Perhaps you can tell us how you achieved it.
I quit smoking about six years ago (I honestly don-t remember -- it will be six or seven years this November). I had been smoking for about 15 years or longer, with a couple of periods thrown into the mix when I-d quit for a few months.

A friend of mine -- and co-worker, important because we spent a lot of time together smoking -- wanted to quit and wanted to start with the Great American Smoke Out. I basically agreed to stop for that one day to keep her company -- I was leery of the whole thing but we agreed that we would not smoke on that day and just...give it a whirl if it went okay. Basically, I figured if I thought in terms of quitting I would sabotage myself, but if I thought in terms of -I-m not going to smoke TODAY- I would be okay. I used the patch (as did my friend -- doing it together was probably key) -- after a couple of weeks of the patch I stopped using it. I was very low-key about it, to the extent that I really didn-t say anything at all about it -- and because I didn-t put pressure on my husband or even really mention it at all, he upped and quit about two months later. A few months into not smoking I went out with some friends for dinner and drinks and to shoot some pool -- they were smokers and I had a cigarette that night, and was fine with it -- didn-t particularly enjoy it, didn-t get any craving to start smoking again, and that was the end of it.

The keys for me:

*Not* thinking in terms of -this is it....forever.-

Doing it with a friend.

Being very low-key about it -- I didn-t go around announcing that I was quitting, or even that I was -not smoking today.- For me, that helped, because there were no issues of pride, or being perceived as a success/failure, no matter what happened.

The patch -- honestly, I have no idea if it helped in any physiological way, because I really never felt that I was having a *physiological* craving, but even if it didn-t help in that respect I do believe it helped psychologically.

Incidentally, the friend who quit with me -- and who pushed the whole quitting idea in the first place -- started to smoke again a few months later. Our other good friends at work continued to smoke, so there was certainly the usual -pressure- created by that kind of environment (we had previously taken a lot of smoke breaks together, believe me!) but I never did go back to it.

As another aside: my husband quit entirely cold turkey, no patch, no cutting back first, no nothing. He didn-t even tell me he was going to (I noticed New Year-s day that he wasn-t smoking and commented on it -- it had been a resolution apparently.) It worked for him, and he-s never gone back.

GOOD LUCK!!

ETA Wow I didn-t realize this was so long -- sorry. Hope it helps though.

ETA Another tactic that can help if you throw it into the mix -- especially if you-re also feeling/aware of the financial drawbacks of smoking -- put the money you would have spent on cigarettes aside every day, keeping a special jar or whatever for just that money, and watch that special savings grow. Use the money on some treat for yourself that you would not have ordinarily done. Or use it to get, say, your teeth whitened after you-ve been a nonsmoker for a while. (Not saying your teeth are bad, but you know what I mean!) It-s rather amazing, especially with the high cost of smoking now, to actually *see* how much money you-ve been spending on smoking that could have gone to something else.
no since i do not smoke..my uncle who has been smoking for 20 years plus quit a couuple of months ago..he did it cold turkey and he is glad the he did it after all this time.he gaine some weight but it is better than lung cancer..
Yep, 10 years ago as a matter of fact. I got tired of having to go buy them. Strange though, I quit one vice for another. I developed a taste for beer. Go figure.
good for you!! you want to quit!!! lol

and yes I did 4 months ago=]

I feel sooooo much better!!
Its amazing!!

I did it by slowly, slowing down on how much I acually did smoke.

when you get down to say 3 ciggs a day, the next just quit all together.
you-ll have the urges but they won-t be as bad as they would if you just quit all together.

good luck!!
=D
Quit smoking 2 months after smoking for 12 years. Started taking Chantix. It is kind of expensive, but well worth it. Good Luck!!!
nope, almost a year, i don-t actually like smoking thats why its easy for me to stop it, my reason of smoking is to be in with my friends and to have an impression that i rebel for something coz that time im really depressed with a family prob.

i guess, finding new and better non-smoker friends will really help, and finding a specific hobby, like sports or martial arts that will encourage you to be healthy, as of now, im enrolled at a martial arts thing and it really helps, i already stopped smoking before i got enrolled, but in stress management it helps, stress is the main reason of smoking, usually those people who are out of touch and out of time

this vice should be stopped before it got worst, a chain smoker have a strong possibility to be a drug addict, iv-e seen them turn into that
No, but I did quit smoking officially a week ago...through trial and error over the past month, I found out that the patch and an arsenal of sugarfree gum is the best way to go. It kicks cravings to the curb (more or less) while you work on your psychological addiction, which is the meaner of the two addiction aspects. Gum was a pain in the butt because you had to chew -em every hour and they tasted terrible. Cold turkey is great, if you have the willpower and the tolerance to deal with the physical and psychological withdrawal symptoms....definitely not me though. CVS has their own brand of nicotine transdermal patches now, and the same step-down program as Nicoderm CQ does for about 25% less money...I-ve been using them for the past week and they are a GODSEND!! Other things that seem to work with me are message boards; the American Lung Association has a great one, and so does quitnet.com.

PS: You don-t need to report the b*tch...I did it for you. Consider it your quit present. LOL

I want to quit smoking pot, what is the best way to detoxify? -

I-ve been smoking for 2.5 years and would prefer a natural method. I believe I use it medicinally for anxiety. Any help would be nice.
Stop smoking, and after at most 6 months all traces of it will be gone naturally, no matter what you do (as long as that doing doesn-t include smoking more)

pot doesn-t have any chemical dependancy, and all damage of smoking it has already been done and only time will fix it if possible

eat healthy normally, you don-t need anything special
There-s no question that pot makes people feel good. There are other things though that can do the same thing and are healthy for you.
If you are not eating properly, start taking vitamin supplements. The side of the bottle tells you what the -Minimum Daily Dosage- is. If you want to ,you might experiment by trying doubling up on the dose. You would have to take A LOT of vitamins to hurt yourself,so relax.
The next thing is once you are getting better nutrition,is to try some form of aerobic exercise like running/jogging,biking,hiking etc. You have to get your lungs pumping lots of air, and hopefully start sweating a little.
Your system will get increased oxygen, which we all need to live. The more oxygen, the better you will feel,ALL DAY LONG.
The next thing that will occur if you get that far is that your body will start producing -Dopamines-. Yes it is a natural drug the body produces when exercising, and man o man does it make you feel good.
However all this takes effort. It-s a lot easier to light a joint than to put on your running shoes and go do 3 miles. The money you save on pot ...you can buy high quality vitamin supplements with. And then what happens is you get really healthy and you don-t even think about pot anymore and you get new friends who are into the same things you are. Healthy friends. Good Luck
talk to health companies. my mom is healthy becuz she is always talking to companies like Shaklee or Revival. DANG they got loads of stuff that can make u real healthy! but the stuff is expensive.
I dunno how it works, but try not 2 smoke pot n maybe eat that
will keep u away from smoking pot. Gum! Drinking water? But try 2 quit smoking pot. Find something 2 do other then smoking pot. U no it might kill u if u smoke pot much. There r good way 2 avoid smoking pot like: Destroying pot n throw it away.
Don-t sell it.
destroy it as soon as possible

Drink Arcilla. Now, that-s something you can easily find in Colombia, they sell it as an alternative medicine product and it is approved by the law. Well, back to reallity, or back to our own constraints; instead of arcilla, you might want to try a long period of time without smocking pot.
Ok, how do we start? ...
Ammm... The steps to cure anything are first: Cleaning up the system, then, cure or reestablish it, and last, maintiaing it. But in your case, you are one step back, because you have not quit.
So to quit, you might need encouragement from your girlfriend, your mom, your family, friends or ultimatly a priest or a consulor. Need to make the commitment in front of your significant others who know your situation and above everything on your own.
Now to detox yourself, you probably heard about drinking a lot of water... well, I don-t agree with that 100%, maybe in a 50%, because water by itself will not nurture your body, it will stimulate the kidneys and the peristaltic movement...or it might even get rid of abdominal pain, but it will not do much more than that. You need to drink tea!!!
And you need to do it yourself: You don-t just poor hot water in the plant... (which might be chammommie, mint, etc), your boil the water, once its boiling, put the plant in there to boil, let it boil for 10 minutes ,watch in hand, lid on at all times. This way the plant releases the properties. Drink it as hot as you can. Make sure you prepare 3 liters of water a day for tea. The measurement is one handful of the plant for every 3 liters. Buy you a steamer, you-ll use it big time... Do this for at least 5 months because the damage caused by drugs is tremendous and you can-t pretend that you-ll be cured overnight.
Tea! that-s the first thing. Then increase the consumption of spinach, it clenses the blood.
Don-t overcook it. Eat it row to make sure that you-re not overcooking it. You have to leave it for 30 minutes in salty water so that the chlorure from the salt kills all germs. Make sure you use sea salt. Wash all your vegetable this way and increase the consumption of raw fruits and vegetables to to at least 30% of your total intake. Make sure you don-t combine fruits with vegetables, the enzimes used for each are different.

Do not eat anything fried, with sugar or meat. It takes a while, but if you want your body to be really clean. Do not eat any of the above mentioned! I know it-s hard to get rid of the habit. But hey! if you have the will to not eat those products or artificially sweetened, colored or preserved products, you can surely stop pot!

If you do this, quitting pot is not going to be a torture. You-ll actually enjoy feeling healthy, strong and full of energy. Take from 2 to 6 grams of vitamin C a day... walk at least 10 minutes every day...
Tell me how you feel after two weeks...
theres pills that you can take that will clear out your whole system.
my friend took em and passed her drug test.
other than that im not raelly sure, and yeah the girl above is right.
most people say that pot does leave your system after 6 months
