hi melissaaa..
quitting is seldom easy for anyone.. i know it wasn-t for me..i smoked for over 40 years, before i found a way of putting them down.. i tried the patches, the pill, and a number of different concoctions, from the health food stores.. with little success..
i now have over 5 years freedom from nicotine, because i quit trying to quit alone!!.. the one thing that i found that finally helped me quit, was participation in a support group.. that worked when other methods failed.. the support of others who were trying to quit, as well as the advise of older more experienced members, was just what i needed..
i am a member of Nicotine Anonymous, and attend meetings both on line, and locally.. you are welcome to attend before attempting a quit, all are welcome smoking or stopped.. on line voice meetings are as close as your computer..
