Are there any ways to quit smoking where you don;t feel the nicotine withdrawals? -
I have tried cutting down tremendously! I smoke a half to a pack a day. I dont- like how your body feels the anxiety, insomnia, mood swings, and the anxiety. Is there a way to avoid this and still quit?
I think your best bet is to use the patch. It must be Nicoderm CQ. The generic brands are crap. Use the patch, and have plenty of fruit available for you. Everytime you have an urge, have a piece of fruit. It will help the cravings considerably. Further, start a new hobby (something physical) immediately on your quit date. Although, you will have some withdrawal, this is an easy way to freedom!! good luck!
Yes, there are ways to avoid this and still quit.
First and foremost, adjust your diet to be as healthy as possible. Follow that up with some daily cardiovascular exercise. You would be utterly amazed how much going on a run every day helps to reduce cravings and contribute positively to your physical and mental well-being.
Lastly, I highly recommend a regimen of St. John-s Wort, available at most any drug store. Take about 900mg in the morning after eating a well balanced breakfast.
All of these things will help. Congratulations on getting this far, and good luck in the future!
