Quit smoking? -
Yes, when I suddenly had difficulty breathing six years ago after 20+ years. I mean I had no warning! No chance to think, -Okay, okay, I-ll quit so that I won-t harm my lungs any more.- Having a suffocating feeling is a remarkable incentive to quit. Now I can no longer play tennis, hike, take long walks, exert myself much in anyway. I had to take a steroid which had negative side effects, mainly weight gain and thin skin. I don-t have cancer, but it is a condition that will never go away. So now I -smoke- three different inhalers to try to relieve the symptoms. I even have to use oxygen sometimes and to sleep. I sure wish I could go back and undo the harm. If you smoke, try to imagine that this happened to you, then realize that it isn-t too late for you! And don-t forget, smoking is very expensive, smells terrible (it really does, it-s in your hair and clothes), is becoming socially unacceptable, and definitely affects your stamina and breathing capacity. Try going fast up a flight of stairs. I know it-s hard to quit, it-s such a comfortable habit. Maybe you don-t even smoke, but are just asking. But if you do, please THINK ABOUT IT CAREFULLY. You won-t always be young, and you would hate being a pulmonary cripple. I still drive, and get around on two legs, but I-d much rather be my normal self. I have my younger, smoker-self to thank. Imagine meeting your future self, and being frightened by it. I was frightened into quiting cold-turkey by my breathing troubles, and it was already too late! Wish I could be this long-winded in reality. Good luck to you.

Left Smoking 14 years back,I would ask all smokers to climb stairs and find out how they feel when they find great difficulty in breathing!! That-s what cigarette does to your lungs. Now I can climb 10 floors without slightest difficulty!
do it.
its good for your health and every stick you dont smoke adds a few minutes to your life on earth.
Yes absolutely. Smoking is damaging your health without a doubt. The longer you smoke the more damage you do. If you quit you will have more energy, a better lung capacity and will feel and be more healthy. Also you smell awful when you smoke so you will be more ozone friendly if you quit!!! Best of luck xx It takes 7 years to undo the damage of smoking to your lungs so dont delay!!!
