You should discuss this with your doctor. He or she is the only one who could give you the best answer. Good luck : )
I stopped on the morning of my surgery - a hernia in the groin. I had my last cigarette about 2 hours before I went under the knife. I also had a slight cold. So when I woke after the op I was soon coughing and spluttering and suffering great pain in the area of my wound. I have only ever smoked on stage as an actor since then. Take this opportunity to give up for good. I hope you have given up in time. Good luck!!!
no you should be fine, don-t smoke for 2 weeks after your surgery either, the only reason is because after surgery if you smoke and cough it hurts more.
