Once you quit smoking, how long does it take before you dont crave cigarettes anymore? -

Everyone is different. Nicotine is one of the main factors involved in tobacco smoking addiction. Nicotine begins to leave the body after about two hours. People like you, and people like me realize that it-s not all about the nicotine. Other factors include stress levels, presence of other smokers, things that trigger a -smoke break-, etc. I have friends who smoked for years, then quit without any cravings whatsoever. It really depends on you. If you are quitting, get a support group, even if it is one person. And realize that once you have stopped smoking, you really are a non-smoker. So, start doing non-smoker things in place of the smoking. Take some deep, gentle breaths for instance. We non-smokers do that. I hope this helps.
your body produces nicotine. it stops doing that when you smoke because you get the nicotine from the cigs. After about three days of not smoking, your body will start to make its own nicotine again. That is when you may crave the most and get the most irritable.
According to the government and some former smokers, never. A nicotine addiction is for life; it never completely goes away. For that reason, nicotine is considered the most addictive substance in the world.
After about a week you don-t crave cigarettes but the hand to the mouth habit is still there you need to keep busy chew gum and keep your hand busy doing different things to you break the habit.
Smoking addiction varies from one person to another and it can be drastic. With some no problem at all. With me it took 3 years before I finally got turned off to cigarettes and the secondary smoke.
FOREVER.

Really. Nicotine is more addictive than heroin.
The craving will always be in the back of your mind. The first time I quit was for 14 years.
