In General, how many days before quit smoking to go for plastic surgery.? -

i have left smoking before 10 day-s of plastic surgery. is there any effect on surgery.
Yes there is an effect. The healing process is much slower in smokers. This is due (in part) that carbon monoxide that you inhale with smoking, will attach to the red blood cells where oxygen needs to be. Oxygen is important to the healing process.

Smoking also robs the body of certain nutrients that are needed for normal function and injury/wound healing.

I say the sooner you quit the better and consider not restarting afterword.

Good luck
you should go to: http://www.cosmedicjetaways.com

They have a full section on how bad it is to smoke or be a smoker before surgery.

10 days is not enough, you should have planned this months ago.

smoking is bad for skin and it is essential for a good recovery process, it takes 6 weeks to clear the effects of smoking from skin.

and to do that you need to drink lots of water, 2 litres daily.

dont listen to surgeons advice, use a website like http://www.cosmedicjetaways.com

since they are not trying to get customers the same month, and bookings are usually 6 months in advance and they give all warnings and careful planning before hand.

this way you get to prepare for surgery, and the best results.
