I want too quit smoking its a disgusting habit i wish i never started,
Any tips other than consulting my local doctor ??
Decide positively that you want to quit. Try to avoid negative thoughts about how difficult it might be.
List all the reasons you want to quit. Every night before going to bed, repeat one of the reasons 10 times.
Develop strong personal reasons in addition to your health and obligations to others. For example, think of all the time you waste taking cigarette breaks, rushing out to buy a pack, hunting for a light, etc.
Begin to condition yourself physically: Start a modest exercise program; drink more fluids; get plenty of rest; and avoid fatigue.
If you do actually want to quit smoking in yourself then you-ll be able to go cold turkey, but make sure to have a cupboard full of healthy snacks, coz if like me, you-ll become a snacking machine and it was directly after xmas so there was tons of chocolate in the house, chucked it all and bought healthier items and managed it, cold turkey, and if you go out drinking, try to keep away from that for a week or two, this is one of the most challenging times, especially in the summer months when everyone is outside...

first off, thank you !!! I-m 15 and my boss- are smokers, neighbours smoke, friends parents smoke etc. You really are taking the right step and I encourage you - don-t give up.
