How to stop eating everything after quit smoking? -


enough said. i am tired of veggies i don-t know what else to do. It has only been 18 days and the scale is increasing and my pants are decreasing
It-s called keep the refrigerator closed.
Hi Crissy-Congratulations on quitting! I quit 2 years ago after 35 years so I know how hard it is. Sugar free gum or candy will help. Also always have a bottle of water with you. Water fills you up. Light popcorn without the butter (sorry) will also fill you up. Don-t abandon the fruits and veggies entirely though!It also helps to start some type of exercise plan. Whatever you do, don-t start smoking again! Best of luck!
Throw all of the bad food out. If you have to binge, it-s better to binge on fruit, which is low fat, high in fiber, and good for you.

You can-t eat chocolate/candy/chips if you don-t buy it.

As others have said, try some exercise...walking, dancing, jogging, jump roping. At least this way you will start losing weight.

Read a book, call a friend, go on the computer...read some fanfiction.

Lately ive been desperate to satiate my crazy appetite because ive been gaining weight, I have found that drinking water all the time really helps. It creates the feeling that youre full and helpful when trying to cut down portions..more water for whatever food youre not eating. might consider it a pain but the thought of me having to pee so damn badly distracts me from that need to get food
Finding a way to distract yourself , like finding a game or reading a book or exercise.
Also you can find a whole bunch of good snacks like dried and fresh fruits, nuts , etc to replace the junk food that-s tempting.

Chewing sugar free gum would work for some.

every time you want to eat or smoke drink a cold glass of water and pop in some gum!
Also you should fill the void with something like working out all the time, or some physical activity.... exercising will help a ton, for one itll help your pant increase! and it will give you endorphins making you in a good mood thus making you crave smokes less!

Try sugarless gum. Also, if you feel you need to eat something, try rubbing your ears. Not so much the part you usually pierce, but the top part.
Drink lots of water :) that worked for me. Sometimes I had some gum to chew too, but i mostly replaced it with water and loads of housework.
exercising will probably help, you need to fill that time that you usually smoked
ok i had the same problem
what i did was chew sugar free gumm all the time
instead of going out for a smoke
eat as much as u can but in one time only...then stop eating for next 12-16 hrs then eat a little and go to bed....
