What is the best product or strategy to help someone quit smoking? -


My mother started taking the -Wellbutrin- pill. It-s also called Bupropion or Zyban.........She has been a smoker for years, and once she took these pills for 3-4 weeks, and then no more pills, she stopped cold turkey..............

Anyway it-s used to help people stop smoking by reducing withdrawal effects.

It may sound silly but I would think the most efficient strategy to help someone quit smoking is a caring family or a loving girlfriend/boyfriend/husband/wife. Love does things to people and can change them dramatically. =)
Just toss em. You-ll only be crazy for about ten days but it is worth it. Cheaper too.

Nicotine patches work, but they make you have amazingly vivid dreams. That could be good or bad. Also, if they keep something around to help with the oral fixation like sunflower seeds or gum.

ask God to give you the strength....I did...I smoked a pack - a 1/2 a day....I was totally addicted...he took the urge away from me....I didnt smoke again....that was 25 years ago.

The smokers patch works well. Also for 2 weeks before your set quitting date keep a diary marking down each time you had a cigarette, the time and whether you craved the smoke or not. You will notice a pattern of smokes you craved and habit or just boredom smokes. One week before your quitting date cut out your boredom and habit smokes. The last 3 days of this period mark a stripe half way down your smoke and only smoke to the mark. By the time your quit day arrives you will already have cut down drastically. I smoked for a long time and I quit, haven-t smoked one for about 2 years now. I think that cutting back is the best approach to ween yourself off cigarettes, that-s how I did it. Just start cutting back until you get to one a day then you really wont need it anymore and you will be able to quit for good
