Any one tried chantix to quit smoking? does it really have a support group? any tips on quitting? -

any one tried chantix to quit smoking? does it really have a support group? any tips on quitting? I need advice especially from folks who are very addicted and have successfully quit.
chantix worked well for almost all my friends andand the only side effect they suffer is depression and there is reports now says that it increases the succidal tendency among users and support gb could guard against that by the way almost of lung damage is revesible
It is the best stuff ever. I am currently on week 6 and tomorrow will be a month without a cigarette. I didn-t completely quit after the first week like they say to try to but I went down to 2-3 a day. After the second week I quit completely and it really hasn-t been very hard. I cut the dosage in half about a week ago and quit taking it 2 days ago and won-t ever smoke again. I didn-t experience any depression. Does make your stomach hurt a little after you take it but just drink alot of water and it goes away. Will also give you really vivid dreams. I only had 1 bad dream but I guess it really messes with some people. I don-t know what you call very addicted but I smoked over a pack a day for 14 years and have tried the gum countless times and had never even quit for a whole day before. I really haven-t even changed my lifestyle at all, I still drink coffee every morning and go drink at bars and it hasn-t been an issue.
I don-t smoke, but I know someone who suffers with COPD and has to use oxygen at night. She said that she tried patches and gum, that nothing worked, so her doctor prescribed her Chantix and it worked. She is smoke free for several years, but the damage to her lungs is irreversible.
