Tell me one effective way to quit smoking? -

I-ve been trying to but can-t
If you are smoking 15 sticks of cigarettes everyday, try to smoke just 14 sticks each day within 5 days. Then after you done it, try to smoke 13 sticks each day with in 5 days. Do the cycle again and again but try to lessen the number of cigarettes you smoke each time you finish the 5 day period. If you still feel like smoking even you already reached the maximum number of cigarettes that you should smoke everyday, just try to take mint candies instead of taking another cigarette.

I don-t smoke but i know a lot of friend who did this just to stop smoking and it works. All you have to do is to add a little bit of self control to yourself. And after you succeed doing this, dont ever try to smoke cigarettes again.
There is only one way to quit smoking and that is to gradually smoke less over time until you eventually stop. Patches aren-t gonna make you stop alone as they are still giving you nicotine which means you will still be craving for that nicotine hit when you stop using the patches. Without willpower you are not gonna stop. The best thing to is surround yourself with people that don-t smoke and have a break from being around smokers when they light up even if that means spending less time with friends for a few weeks. At the end of the day if you really want to stop you will, but it will take time. Look for substitutes like an occasional alcoholic drink or a hobby e.g. going to the gym, playing sports etc. You need to occupy your mind so that smoking isn-t popping into your head constantly. Being bored will not help your mission. Take this advice very seriously and remember to be strong even if it means telling yourself that smoking is negative and will have no long-term benefits at all. Quitting will improve your health, your mood, and your mental strength. Good luck
Going cold turkey is the best and most effective but it takes an awful lot of determination and a VERY strong desire not to be addicted to cigarettes anymore.
My father smoked two packs a day and just decided one day to quit. He never smoked again. It can be done but you really, really have to want to get off them.
I have known a few people to quit smoking. They all went cold turkey which is very hard. They had done it by saying -hey I just went an hour without smoking, I can go one more.- Eventually they made it a day and could go one more. After about a week, they realized they could do it. I hope this helps and good luck.
i have a strong Mind over Matter personality...just tell yourself -hey, i can control what i do, i wanna quit. so just do it, sure the nicotine will fight ye for a bit :) but whos stronger? your mind, or a lil cigarette that causes you harm?

Do meditation for about two hours chanting -OM,OM and when you are in force to have smoking, instead cigarette take, bublegum or choclate, etc. You can stop without problem
Try the patches, or try cold turkey which is so hard to do, and now they even have a pill that you can get from your doctor...
CHANTIX
Don-t buy cigars anymore.... that-s all
