If youve smoked for awhile, and now youve quit smoking....do you get lung cancer from smoking before? -
like say you have been smoking for a year or two, and you-ve just quit today.....will you still get lung cancer anyway???
You could, but the chances of that happening to you are slim compared to someone who smoked for 30+ years like my Grandfather, who passed away of lung cancer.
In school, they taught us that if you smoke for a short period of time then quit, that your lungs will go back to the way before you started smoking.
yes you can, but your chances decrease after you stop smoking.
seriously, just don-t smoke, it-s absolutely terrible for you, and all those around you.
It-s reduced but it-s more possible for an ex-smoker than a non-smoker to develop lung cancer, but that doesn-t mean that an ex-smoker will develop lung cancer, there-s just a bigger chance
First good for you on quitting.I am still trying - failing. You can get lung cancer if you have never smoked. When anyone packs in the chances of getting lung cancer from smoking decreases.
Good Luck
you could but quiting lessens the chance
