Quit Smoking.? -

Any simple and effective ways?
I quit 4 years ago using the patch. And I was smoking 4 packs a day. Each patch last 3 days even though it says to take them off and reapply every 24 hours. So i managed to get 6 weeks worth with 2 weeks worth of patches. I bought 21mg and 14mg. Believe me, leave on for 3 days each. And you will NOT have any urge to smoke while on the patch. Now I was able to go cold turkey after 6 weeks. I still got urges but they were weak ones.....easy to pass. Thats my story.

When I quit Smoking back in 86 everyone i knew
or worked around smoked, My wife, family just
about everybody. The only way I was able to quit
was when I took a week off from work, went to
a motel, lock myself in, and sweated it out. I Lived
on orange juice - aspirin for a week, but I did it.
In my opinion don-t bother with any medications or such you will become reliant on them to stay away from smoking the best way is to be positive and exercise your will power to refrain from getting back to smoking.

Quit and start focusing on all the benefits of quitting smoking and leading a healthier lifestyle, just my opinion.

This is a site with some good information to help you out
Ask your doctor to put you on Welbutrin or Cialis. Me, my friend and her husband all took Welbutrin and quit. After the first week or so cigarettes don-t taste the same, they taste yucky, so you really don-t want to do it anymore. The hardest thing for me was in the car, so it took a little longer for me than my friends, but I haven-t had a cigarette in 12 days and don-t want one. Hope this helps. Good luck!!!
There is no simple way.
I have at one time, smoked 60 a day.
I decided to give up when I realised how much money was going up in smoke and going into other people-s pockets, you can buy a car with the money you save?
First I carried an unopened packet on me.
You will find that as you go with out a smoke in the early part. The temptation is easier to resist, if you tell yourself that you are not going to let a little bit of tobacco push you around.
You will find that as the time between the urge to smoke gets longer, the urge will get more intense until the 18th day when the worst will be over. If you do give in to the temptation?
Do not give up because if you give up the smoking, you will be a stronger person for it.
If you are in a group of smoker and they offer you a smoke decline by saying no thank you. you may find that some one will deliberately tempt you, but any weak person will give in.
It takes a very strong and smart person to say NO and not give in GOOD LUCK.
