Im willing to quit smoking BUT Im afraid of putting on weight? -
What can I do to avoid gaining weight after quitting smoking??
you will only put on weight if you feed your nicotene cravings by snacking.
if you get the urge to smoke just do a few push ups or sit ups instead, it-ll take your mind off it and keep your weight donw.
dont give in!

Get an electronic cigarette. You get to -smoke- without all the bad chemicals except nicotine. You can even get no nicotine cartridges so you feel like your smoking (blowing out smoke, holding the cigarette) but your not. Trust me on this one. Then you won-t want to find something like food to replace the sensation.

Substitute something else to keep your hands busy such as eating carrot sticks, celery sticks, drinking lots of water, and perhaps go walking when cravings are bad. You will feel so much better when you quit smoking that you will have the energy to put into working out and getting yourself healthier.
Drink plenty of water and try to gradually increase exercises. Good luck!
