Any Good Quit Smoking Products? -
Has anyone had any success using quit smoking products?
I personally don-t trust any quit smoking method that deals only with physical nicotine addiction. I tried several times to quit using patches, gums, herbs etc but none of these worked.
Smoking is more of a psychological addiction than a physical one. If you really want to quit you must discover the reasons why you smoke and then eliminate or change these thought processes. As soon as I dealt with my psychological reasons for smoking I quit, first time and more importantly for good.
Quitting smoking does not require any patches, gums, herbs or anything like that. These methods are expensive, time consuming and simply do not work. All that is required is a bit of motivation, self belief and determination. Have faith in yourself and your abilities, if you truly believe you can quit, then you will.

Good Luck and Good Quitting
The -gold standard- is to use a product like Zyban or Chantix (need a prescription) along with a behvioral program. Zyban has been shown to be safe to use in conjunction with a nicotine product like the gum, lozenge, patch - this also improves success rates. Both Zyban (Wellbutrin, Bupropion) and Chantix have some risks so it-s important to discuss these with your health care provider. The patch, gum, and lozenge are really great products too and are available over-the-counter. Read more at the site below.
Good luck!
The patch made me jittery and hard to sleep. I quit by cutting the amount I smoked down every two weeks Like 20 to 15 then 10 to5. The last couple of weeks I only had 1 smoke a day. That way made it real easy to quit.4-5 weeks after you quit, you realize how great you feel.
Sometimes Nicotine tablets help people. You can try. They might help you.
I wish you all the best! It-s not easy!

Chantix, works great, but you need a prescription.
