You can-t. If he doesn-t want to quit smoking then he won-t, all you will do is get his back up and make him less inclined to be co-operative with other things if you do try and make him quit.
you don-t.he has to want to quit and all the harping on it will do nothing.You could total up what he spends a month on tobacco and suggest what he could save by not smoking and make a suggestion what he could do with the money saved.you will never make him quit and he know what tobacco can do to him.
If he doesn-t want to, you can-t make him.
BTW, while it-s certainly bad for health, it isn-t a waste of money, because it makes you feel good.
