If i quit smoking will i put on weight? -
Apparently smoking keeps your weight down.
you may.. generally, people replace smoking with eating when they quit, thus the weight gain.. if you dont start to comfort eat when you quit, it should not be anything to worry about. besides, the health benefits of quitting smoking outweigh the possibility of 5 extra pounds by a long shot!
I personally think that smokers are used to having something in their mouth (cigarette) and eating helps control the urge to smoke...Try chewing gum
No way smoking is not good for you in any way
maybe... but even if so... I would rather be with someone with a few extra pounds than someone who smells and tastes like an ash tray!!!
No you gain weight from eating more not from not smoking.
NO! Because my daddy quit smoking a few months ago and hes fine. He did not put on more wieght.
well...yes and no. it depends on if you eat more..yea you-ll put on weight. if you watch what you eat and not eat so much no you wont gain weight!
I didn-t gain weight when I quit smoking, but the advice I give to others is that you need to replace smoking with something healthy, most notably working out, running, etc. That worked for me. Or get yourself a hobby that takes up some of that idle time when you used to smoke because there was nothing else to do.
Most likely!
probably.....
