Any tips when you quit smoking weed? -
I quit smoking weed 5 days ago and it is still a wee bit of a stuggle. Has anybody quit and found some tricks to take your mind off it? It would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
First of all, congrats on your 5 days. However, I-m just wondering why, and if you smoke cigarettes or drink alcohol? If you do, those should be the first habits kicked. Weed seems to be less harmful than either. It-s also less addictive. It-s only a mental addiction and not physical. That makes things easier. To me, the only problem with weed is that it-s illegal. Granted it-s different for everyone. Again, so is alcohol. You just never hear about a bunch of people smoking pot and getting hostile like drunk people. Anyway, not to lead you in the wrong direction, I-m net telling you that you should smoke. Just make sure you-re kicking the right habits first. As far as getting your mind off it, keeping busy is definitely the best. But if it was something you did to zone out and get to sleep at night, try something like benedryl for a few days. It-s safe. try cutting back a bit, i have the same problem, i smoke multiple sessions a day and i cant stop, but i smoke poppers, try going from say 10 sessions one day to 8 the next day then 6 the next then 4 and soo on, its my best advice other then cold turkey

pick up a hobby
like many smokers, they need something to do when they would normally be doing that (eating for some)
try out things when you would normally do that
or avoid those places and times when you would smoke weed
just need to distract yourself
I use to smoke all day every day when i realized how much i was spending i quit for a while one day a friend fired one up i still like to smoke every once in a while but after going about two weeks without my friend smoked with me and afterwards it made me feel realy stupid and lazy so now i only smoke when i feel like being lazy and stupid by the way i smoked for 25 years and quit without any problems just didnt think about it any more

GOOD FOR YOU that you quit. I can-t even begin to tell you how bad drugs are for you. Keep busy to get your mind off of smoking. CHEW GUM. Regular gum. This helps. Drink water too. Mind over matter.
