Just quit smoking cold turkey --need some advice? -


WHat can I do in order to diminish the physical damage t did to me, such as wrinkled face and hands, deteriorated physical condition (i still cant run more than 1.5 km in one go), stained teeth, etc etc thanks

Work out a lot! this will help releasing stress and reduce the craves!

use a anti-wrinkle cream, do some aerobic excercises it-ll help to repair your lungs

nyway, u r young by when u r 30 your body will be like brand new (of course if u dont go back to smoking again!)
your body will repair itself a little. such as your lungs will take a while but will slowly start to repair. you will notice this by the coughing you experiencing after you stopped and the tingling and itching of your throat and lungs. thats your tiny hairs which exist in your throat and lungs growing back, because you have singed them by the hot smoke. your young and your body can still reapair itself rather well now. it-s a good thing you stopped at this age and didn-t go into your 30-s with it, then you would have proabably had some probs. by the way you did it......... cold turkey is the only real way to quit. because it takes mind power to stop something, not more chemicals that you will depend on. good job man, just don-t fall back.
The best thing you can do is to not start up again. You can-t do much about the skin (probably not that much damage was done, since you-re only 25), except take care of it from here on out, but you can get your teeth whitened, etc. Your lungs will feel much better after a few weeks.
You will recover, you are young. Remember that a nicotine fit only lasts for 3 minutes max. At first they will be frequent, but they will recede after some time.

By the time your 35 you will have undid alot of the damage just by time alone.
