How to quit smoking? -
does anyone know any good ways on giving- up smoking?

I learned quitting is a process. Start by not smoking in the house. Not smoking in the car. Only allow yourself to smoke in one area. Try to make it away from the house so it-s inconvenient for you. Whenever you get comfortable with a cigarette brand, move to a lower tar and nicotine. When you get accustomed to this lower level, move down again. When you are ready to really give it up quit before you go to bed. When you wake up you-ll already have gone 8 hours without a cigarette. Try quitting on a specific day of the week. If you start up, quit again. Keep on quitting. That-s how I did it. It was the toughest thing I ever did, but worth every minute of it.
edit: find your local American Lung Association chapter and ask them for tips too. When I was quitting I called them all the time!

For example lets say you smoked 20 a day, you should try to cut down one or two a day, so that your intake becomes less and less, one way to quit as well is to keep busy so that you don-t have time to smoke, therefore your active and not smoking, this way you will be smoking less and hopefully not rely on them too calm you down etc.

it-s different for everyone, but I know someone who got hypnotized and that worked for her, there-s patches, and gum... or you could just stop all at once. I also have heard of people just substituting the cigarette with something else

well for starters cutting down is a way forward, if people smoke around you it doesnt help because then you just end up craving one yourself.. maybe go to the doctors and get some patches or something? goodluck. x
You tried gum or those patches? You could call the smoking department I think it-s 311. Or get encouragement, look into your families eyes and see if you-ll be able to die in front of them.
Start jogging
