What is life expecting of someone who has COPD and is on oxygen and has just quit smoking? -
That can not be answered on Yahoo Answers or any other site like it. Life expectancy can be very different for someone with underling medical conditions along with COPD. Obstructive Sleep apnea, heart disease, diabetes and an other chronic disease can severely complicate the COPD process.
My suggestion to you is to find a local pulmonary rehab program. Their goal is to help COPD patients live a longer life with a higher quality of life style.
