How to quit smoking Tips on quitting smoking! -

I very badly want to quit smoking. Are there some ways to keep myself from carving for Smoke?
lessen your smoke.
Hearing the decision to quit from you, yourself is very rewarding and could warrant a higher rate of success if you would not fall into temptation to smoke again. However, quitting does not happen overtime. It takes time-days, weeks, or perhaps even months. First of all I would suggest that you get rid of any cigarettes that is still in your possession and stay away from it. Also it is advisable to chew on something like a gum for instance to keep your mouth busy especially when you have these cravings for nicotine. Moreover, involve your family in your decision to stop smoking for they are the ones who can help you manage your problem and keep track of you whenever temptations knocks at your door. Try to keep yourself busy like focus more on your hobbies and things that you enjoy aside from smoking.

By the way, have you tried nicotine patches? If no, you might wanna check on that. I hear it works. If the day would pass without you touching that cigar then you should always congratulate yourself. Good luck and hoping the best for you...
There is a product available called NewReality Personal Achievement Device (PAD) that uses a Creative Visualization and Relaxation program to help quit smoking. Why?
Why do you want to?
It-s easier if you have a definate reason for giving up

I used to be a 40 a day smoker when my wife said sh had to give up (5 a day) because she was pregnant with our first. So decided it was only fair that I did too, this was a lot easier than i thought it would be.

One tip if you haven-t smoked for two days just tell yourself that it will be easier to go another day, and so on eacj day, before you realise it you won- of smoked for a month, just build day by day.

good luck,hope you do it
yes there is a way to make you stop smoking, try to look around you do you think the people around you like the smell of your smoke and you could also avoid going to the store just to buy smoke. it saves time and with a little exercise you could restore your health before you started smoking
You have to quit, just cold turkey. It is hard work and don-t be surprised if you become depressed. I smoked for 14 years and quit going on three years ago. There are still days that I crave cigarettes, but the smell like crap and I know they are going to taste twice as bad. Good Luck!!!
Try to go to some clinic for injection. Some clinic has this kind of medication. Or, you keep the cigarettes in a drawer and lock it and tell someone to keep the keys.
just gradually decrease what you smoke. i started on monday with a whole pack, and by the end of the week i only had 5 to smoke that day. by the time you get to the last day, you should be more ready to kick it.
