I want to quit smoking but I dont know how to start? -

Its so much easier not to smoke!

Ok the first day can be a little challenging.
But within a week. You-ll find that all of a sudden your day at work goes so much smoother. Because your not always waiting for your next cigarette.

I recommend cold turkey, but have a patch on hand for those nights when you are going out for a beer or coffee, etc.. But you really don-t have to.

Have plenty of snacks to keep your hand and mouth occupied. I liked dried goji berries, and nuts. Dried apple etc.

spend plenty of time rewarding yourself, like walking, going to the gym. Try swimming before and after you stop smoking notice the difference.

Put 10dollars away every day, it adds up.

Call yourself a non-smoker, But don-t tell anyone you quit, make it a private privileged smile.

decide which day you-ll stop smoking and when you stop stop.

Never have that morning cigarette in the mean time. It gives you a good 9+ hours of detox. Thats long enough for most of the nicotine to leave your body.

When you get cravings, celebrate your bodies new choice take some cleansing breath and 5 minutes later ou-ll be over it.

Taste great food, for the first time in a while THATS HOW ITS SUPPOSED TO TASTE.
If you want to quit cold turkey, just throw away your cigarettes. There-s lots of advice about how to get through the withdrawal, but in my experience, most of it doesn-t do much. The most important is to avoid any stress -- take time off if you can, particularly for days 3-5, which are the worst. Sucking on hard candy helps, it can-t be the sugarless kind -- the sugar seems to reduce cravings a bit. If you have an earring, twirling it can help -- strange but true. And keep in mind that you can-t cheat. You-ll probably tell yourself that -I-m just going to take the edge off by having one cigarette,- but the moment you do that you-ll be right back where you were.

If cold turkey doesn-t work, get a prescription for Chantix and follow the instructions. Not everyone can take it -- some people get depressed, nauseous, or have other bad side effects -- but for those who can it works better than anything else.

If that doesn-t work, Wellbutrin, another pill.

You can also try nicotine replacement therapy -- I-ve had the best results with the Commit Lozenges. Just follow the instructions. The worst that can happen is you-ll end up using the lozenges instead of smoking -- I did that for a couple of years. That-s not as good as stopping, since you-ll still be taking in some nicotine, but there-s no cancer risk.

Finally, consider the mini e-cigarettes that they make in China. They-re almost exactly like smoking, but without the cancer risk. (They still have nicotine in them, though, so they have a cardiovascular risk.)
*list down reasons why you need to stop smoking
*research on what disease you migh have if dont stop smoking
*if you cant go cold turkey, lessen the number of sticks you consume everyday
*try some herbal medicines, they say it is safer than nicotine patches
start by not buying smokes.....
Make up your mind..i mean a stong determination and go on...
